THE ENTREPRENEUR LAUGHS OF THE PAWNON’S DREAM… UNTIL IT TAKES 8 TRUCKS OF HIM TO SAVE THE FACTORY
— Trucks yours? You can’t afford a tire!
Jonas took on boss
— One day you will still wait for my truck.
Osvaldo laughed again.
– When that day comes, I’ll open the gate myself.

Jonas didn’t respond. He just kept in his pocket the small notebook where he wrote down routes, expenses and delivery times.
He had worked at the furniture factory expedition twelve years ago.
Loading other people’s trucks while saving every penny to buy his own.
But a few days later, a load dropped into a truck with nearly bald tires.
Jonas warned the man in charge.
— This truck can’t catch a saw in the rain.
— Do your work and leave transportation to me.
The load is out.
We arrived two days late and several broken furniture.
The next morning, Osvaldo met the staff
— I want to know who let that truck out!
Incharge pointed to Jonah.
— He knew about the problem.
Jonas drew the notebook.
— I warned you. It’s all written down here.
Osvaldo didn’t even want to look.
— Since you understand transportation so much, go take care of your own trucks.
Jonas has taken off his gloves
—Thank you for twelve years.
And he’s gone.
With the cancellation, savings and help from a retired trucker, he bought an old truck.
The wife asked:
– What if it doesn’t work out?
Jonas segurou o volante gasto.
— It’s gonna have to.
He started making frees that no one wanted.
Bad roads.
Small deliveries.
Early morning trips.
But there was one rule.
— Did you promise a time?
— Promise.
— So it’s on time.
The second truck came in.
The third one.
Then eleven.
Four years later, Aristides Transport was already known all over the region.
Until one night the phone rang.
— Jonah? This is Rafael Brandon
Jonas got real.
It was Osvaldo’s son.
— Fala.
— My father signed the biggest contract in the factory. We need eight trucks tomorrow at six am. Nine carriers refused.
Jonas was quiet for a few seconds.
Might as well get the humiliation back
But he answered :
— The eight shall be there.
At six o’clock first blue truck is through the gate.
And then another one.
And another one.
When the eighth parked, Osvaldo rushed down.
Leu o nome estampado nas portas:
TRANSPORTES ARISTIDES.
Jonas got out of the truck
Osvaldo has turned pale.
— Is It Yours ?
— Todas.
The businessman has lowered his eyes.
— Did you come for revenge?
Jonah is drawing closer.
— Nope. I came to accomplish the work that the Lord said I would never be able to do.
All eight trucks out loaded that morning
The contract was sealed.
Days later, Osvaldo searched for Jonas in the patio.
In his hands, he carried the old patched gloves he had left years ago.
— I was wrong.
Jonas has got the gloves on
— Thank God you laughed.
Osvaldo estranhou.
— Why so?
Jonas watched the trucks come in through the gate.
— Because that day I stopped asking people to believe in my dream and started working to make it impossible to ignore.
Sometimes the one who laughs at you today will be exactly the one who needs what you are building tomorrow.
If you believe that no pain is greater than the promise of God, comment: I BELIEVE! Also tell me: what city are you watching us from?
